Whilst not precisely quantifiable, this is estimated by the insurance industry to be three times that of the incurred claims cost.

Workers Compensation Claims Management
Key functions performed are:
- Technical Support
- Advice on issues governed by Workers Compensation Legislation and Common Law matters as required.
- Case Management and File Reviews
- Case management is the key to cost savings and Jardine Lloyd Thompson Pty Ltd will facilitate the effective management of each injured worker where required.
- We will conduct claim review meetings with you and your insurer.
- Rehabilitation
- Recent Act amendments have further emphasised the need for timely and effective rehabilitation.
- We would be seeking to support and promote effective programs, and where necessary, monitor the performance of rehabilitation providers. This will be done on a case by case basis in conjunction with claim review meetings.
- Settlement Advice
- As and where required we will attend, on your behalf, all informal and District Court conferences on matters dealing with claim settlements and litigation. Advice will be sent to you on the outcome of each hearing.
- Executive Reporting
- We will provide minutes from each claims review meeting, no later than 14 days following these meetings. In addition, an executive summary on the status of your remaining claims will be provided at the expiry of our appointment.
- Training
- We will assist organisations with their training needs requirements in terms of Workers Compensation Processes and Injury Management.
