Top-Up Professional Indemnity for Law Firms
ProEx have arranged a facility with an insurer which provides cost effective Top-Up Professional Indemnity (PI) for law firms requiring a greater limit of indemnity than that provided by their compulsory primary PI policy.
Cover under this facility can be purchased in excess of your compulsory primary policy up to a limit of $18.5 million. Additional coverage can be arranged by ProEx in addition to the facility limit if required.
The facility is:
- Competitive
- Terms under the facility are negotiated with the insurer based on the specific risk profile of your individual practice and consistently produce competitive premiums.
- Independent
- Both ProEx and the insurer are independent of any particular law societies or professional bodies and as such are able to operate with complete independence focusing on you as the insured.
- Fair
- Your premium will be based on your individual risk profile. You will not be penalised for the size, poor claims history, or high risk activity of others.
- Successful
- ProEx established the facility in 2002 so it is entering its 6th successful year in operation. It is backed by an insurer who are authorised under Australian law, APRA regulated and have a Standard and Poors rating of A (Strong).
