JLT Discretionary Trust Arrangements:
The flagship product in the VillageWISE range is the JLT Discretionary Trust (JDT) Arrangement ("The JDT Arrangement").
The JLT (RVA – Villages) Discretionary Trust Arrangement was established to help manage the risks of property damage and consequential loss and machinery and electronic breakdown to villages and resorts owned and/or operated by RVA members.
Another product, the JLT (RVA – Residents) Discretionary Trust Arrangement, was established to protect village and resort residents against loss of or damage to their home contents and personal property and protect them from personal liability.
JDT Arrangements are issued by the Trustee and Scheme Manager, JLT Group Services Pty Limited (JGS), a wholly owned subsidiary and authorised representative (No. 274831) of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Pty Limited.
A JDT Arrangement is a managed investment scheme made up of two parts:
- A discretionary part which is not insurance (“Scheme Cover”); and
- An insurance policy that is purchased by the Trustee for the JDT Arrangement and its Members (“Insurance Cover”).
The JDT Arrangement is not insurance because one element of it involves the Trustee’s absolute discretion whether or not to pay a claim. It is not authorised under nor subject to the Insurance Act 1973 nor is it regulated by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA).

The following covers are available through the VillageWISE scheme:

- Loss of or damage to Building and Common Contents
- Consequential Loss (Gross Revenue and/or Gross Profits)
- Machinery Breakdown
- Electronic Breakdown
The Insurance Cover part of this JDT Arrangement is insured by ACE Insurance.
The JLT (RVA – Residents) Discretionary Trust Arrangement
The cover protects against:
- Accidental damage to Contents and Personal Effects
- Personal Liability
- Machinery and Electronic Breakdown
The Insurance Cover of this JDT Arrangement is insured by Ansvar Limited.
VillageWISE Combined Liability Package
This product is packaged especially for RVA and its members and combines three major covers in one:
- Public and Products Liability
- Professional Indemnity and Malpractice
- Directors and Officers Liability and Employment Practices Liability
This insurance product is underwritten by Australis Group (Underwriting) Pty Ltd acting on behalf of the insurer QBE Insurance (Australia) Limited.
Fidelity Guarantee
- This product provides cover for Employee Fraud and Dishonesty
The cover is insured by ACE Insurance.
Commercial Motor Vehicle
We can arrange an insurance product that gives owners and operators of villages and resorts a choice of covers and excesses. Choose a cover option and excess for each vehicle to best suit your needs:

Voluntary Workers Personal Accident
Members of RVA can purchase this cover for the benefit of their voluntary workers. Personal Accident cover for voluntary workers features:
