• What is the Period of Cover for the JLT National Wine Program?
  • Your policy(ies) will run for 12 months from the date cover is effective and is renewable annually thereafter. The date the policy(ies) commence is decided by you.
• How do I arrange cover under the JLT National Wine Program?
  • Contact the JLT person in your State (go to contacts on this website)
• How do I pay for this insurance?
  • Once cover has been arranged JLT will issue you will an invoice(s) which are payable within 14 days of inception of the policy(ies). Premium funding facilities are also available (go to premium funding on this website) or
• How can we prove that we have Public Liability Insurance?
  • Once cover is in place, your JLT account manager will issue you with a Certificate of Currency which will summarise the cover you have in place.
• Are external contractors working on our premises covered?
  • Yes, labour hire can be covered under the public liability policy – refer to your account manager for specific details.
• Do I need a claim number before submitting my claim?
  • No not necessarily – refer to your account manager for specific details.
• Can I make more than one claim during the period of insurance?
  • Yes
• Can Buildings Insurance be provided under the JLT National Wine Program?
  • Yes

• What do I do if I have a complaint about the JLT National Wine Program?

  • Yes cover can be tailored to your specific needs.
• Do I have to choose all classes of insurance in the program?
  • No you may choose only the covers that are relevant to the exposures you wish to address following consultation with your account manager
• Do I deal directly with the insurers when making a claim?
  • No the initial claims advice will be directed to your account manager. They will assist you in lodging your claim & monitor progress until final settlement is made.
